Questions about this service

Can you manage our existing UniFi network?
Yes — our Managed UniFi service adopts your existing hardware into our monitoring stack. We bring firmware up to date, tune the configuration, and actively monitor from that point forward.
What's included in Managed UniFi — and what isn't?
Included: 24/7 monitoring, firmware patching, configuration backups, remote support during business hours and emergency response out of hours. Excluded: physical hardware replacement (charged at cost), and project work like new site rollouts (scoped separately). You always own your hardware — the service is a wrap, not a lock-in.
How quickly do you respond when something goes down?
Monitoring picks up most issues before users notice — an AP that's stopped responding, a switch port flapping, a WAN drop. For confirmed outages our target response is under 30 minutes during business hours and same-evening out of hours. We tell you what we're doing in plain English and won't disappear mid-incident.
Do we keep ownership of our network if we cancel?
Yes — always. The hardware is yours, the configuration is yours, and we hand back full admin credentials on request. The only thing we remove is our monitoring agent. We'd rather earn the renewal than trap a client into staying.
Will you work alongside our existing IT provider?
Routinely. We focus on the network layer — cabling, switching, wireless, firewall — and integrate with whoever runs your desktops, M365 or line-of-business apps. We're happy to put change tickets through their helpdesk and stay in lane.
What is a Fluke DSX test and why does it matter?
The Fluke DSX is the industry standard for certifying copper and fibre cabling. It verifies every cable meets the electrical and signal performance required for its rated category — giving you a printed, traceable record that the cable is not merely wired up, but actually performing to standard.
Why do you offer a 25-year warranty?
Structured cabling should outlast the equipment plugged into it. We only install kit and terminations we trust, test every run on a Fluke DSX, and stand behind the result for 25 years. If a certified cable fails in that time, we replace it.
Do you work on secure or government sites?
Yes. Our engineers are CNCI-trained, ECS-certified and DBS-checked, and we have experience delivering installations at some of the most secure sites in the country. We can comply with site-specific vetting and working procedures as required.
